Questions

How much does Walker C cost?

UBTECH doesn't publish a retail price; Walker C is sold through enterprise projects and partnerships. Contact us for hire or purchase options for your event or venue.

What are the key specs?

About 163 cm tall and 43 kg, with 20 degrees of freedom. A 48 V 15 Ah battery gives roughly two hours of walking or four hours standing, and recharges in about 1.5 hours.

Can Walker C run guided tours and receptions?

Yes, that is what it's built for. UBTECH used it as a tour guide at the China Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka. A good deployment needs a mapped route, approved scripts, a chosen language and a staff member nearby as a fallback.

Can it talk naturally with visitors?

It combines speech, gestures and cameras for a more personal experience than a kiosk. Noisy, crowded venues limit what it understands, so defined conversation topics and clear prompts work best.

Is it safe in public spaces?

With supervision, yes. Plan an operating zone with clearances, level floors free of cables and steps, an emergency stop, and a staff member who can stop or guide the robot.

What's needed to deploy it at an event?

A level operating area, Wi-Fi, charging and secure storage, plus rehearsal time, approved content and on-site technical support. We handle the logistics and an operator for hire bookings.

Walker C, Walker C1 or Walker X?

Walker C focuses on tours and public interaction. Walker C1 is UBTECH's newer commercial humanoid, and Walker X is a research and service platform with a different size and joint count. The right one depends on availability in your region, support and what the robot needs to do.
