Up close
The Toyota Human Support Robot (HSR) is a compact mobile robot with a folding arm, built to research help at home: picking things up from the floor, fetching items from shelves and remote operation. It has a height-adjustable body, a gripper plus suction pad, and RGB-D cameras, stereo vision and force sensing. Toyota provides it to research institutions (67 in 14 countries in 2025) and does not sell it publicly.
