Surena IV is a research humanoid developed at the University of Tehran: about 170 cm, 68 kg, with 43 degrees of freedom including 7-DoF arms and 6-DoF hands. Research on it covers walking over unknown obstacles with predictive foot sensors, tool use, writing and visual servoing of moving objects. It is an academic prototype, since succeeded by Surena V, and is not sold.
