Up close
The Sony aibo ERS-311 LATTE was a cream-coloured, cub-style aibo released in 2001 alongside the ERS-312 MACARON. Simpler than the ERS-210, with 15 joints, it ran about 2.5 hours per charge, understood voice commands, took photos and showed its mood through a head lamp. It is now mainly a collector's model.

Questions
Can I still buy a new aibo ERS-311?
No. Sony discontinued it long ago; units now come from collectors. The current model is aibo ERS-1000.
What should I check before buying one?
Battery health, joint condition, the original Memory Stick software, and whether the charger and accessories are included. Original batteries and parts are scarce.
