Up close
The MRMC Bolt is a high-speed motion-control camera robot for commercials, tabletop, visual effects, film and TV. It carries a 20 kg camera package, reaches 2 m and lifts the camera to 3.5 m, and moves at up to 7 m/s on its own or 12 m/s on track. MRMC's Flair software repeats every move exactly, including lens and timing, so takes can be layered and matched.

Questions
Can the Bolt be hired?
Yes. Bolt is widely available from motion-control hire companies, usually with a trained operator. Buying makes sense for studios that shoot with it regularly.
How fast is it?
Up to 7 m/s for the arm alone and 12 m/s when combined with track. Those speeds need a cleared, controlled set.
What does it need on set?
Three-phase 400 V power, a level floor or track, trained operators and a safety plan that keeps people out of the robot's reach while it moves.
