Up close
Medtronic Hugo RAS is a modular robotic surgery system for minimally invasive soft-tissue procedures. Each arm sits on its own cart so teams can arrange them around the table, and the surgeon works at an open console with 3D HD vision and fluorescence imaging, controlling wristed instruments. It links to Medtronic's digital surgery tools. US clearance covers specified adult urologic procedures; other markets allow more under local approval.
