Up close

Kuri was a small home robot by Mayfield Robotics, with expressive eyes, a moving head, a camera for capturing family moments, music speakers and autonomous navigation with self-docking. It launched at about US$699–899, but Mayfield stopped making it and closed in 2018 and refunded unfilled orders, so few units exist. The apps and cloud depended on the company, so surviving units are collector pieces with no parts or support.
