Up close
The da Vinci X is Intuitive's value-focused multiport surgical system and a common entry point for hospitals starting a robotic surgery programme. It uses the same arm architecture, surgeon console and vision technology as the da Vinci Xi, with wristed instruments, stapling and sealing, and selected advanced features can be added later. The surgeon controls every movement; it is not autonomous.
