The Unitree B2 is an IP67-rated industrial quadruped for inspection, patrol, mapping, research and emergency response. It carries over 40 kg while walking, runs 4–6 hours on a 2,250 Wh battery, and handles stairs, steep slopes, obstacles and rough outdoor ground. Sensors, compute, communications and autonomy can be configured for the job.

How much weight can the B2 carry?
Unitree lists more than 40 kg while walking and at least 120 kg standing, under test conditions. Count every mounted item (sensors, brackets, compute, batteries) and keep a margin; heavy or tall payloads reduce stability and runtime on stairs and slopes.
How long does the battery last?
More than 5 hours and 20 km unloaded, or more than 4 hours and 15 km carrying 20 kg. Speed, terrain, temperature and payload all change real runtime.
What is the difference between the B2 and B2-W?
The B2 walks on feet, which suits stairs, rough ground and precise footholds. The B2-W adds powered wheels to its legs, so it is faster and more efficient on roads, corridors and other smooth surfaces while still stepping over obstacles.
Is the B2 waterproof?
The robot is rated IP67, so it handles dust and rain well. Mounted sensors and third-party equipment may have a lower rating, and IP67 does not cover pressure washing, deep water or corrosive sites.
What terrain can it handle?
Unitree lists obstacles of around 40 cm and slopes over 45 degrees. Loose gravel, mud, wet steps and tall payloads all reduce that, so test the real route with the real payload.
Can it patrol autonomously?
Yes, with the right sensing, compute and software package. Autonomous patrol also needs mapping, communications coverage and, for repeated missions, a charging plan. Tell us the route and we'll confirm what's needed.
