Atlas is Boston Dynamics' fully electric humanoid, unveiled as an enterprise product in January 2026. It stands about 1.9 m tall, weighs 90 kg and has 56 degrees of freedom with joints that rotate continuously, giving a reach of up to 2.3 m. It carries 30 kg sustained (50 kg briefly), is IP67-rated, and swaps its own batteries to keep working. Orbit connects it to MES and WMS systems. Early deployments went to selected partners such as Hyundai and Google DeepMind, with more customers planned from 2027.

Built for industry
Enterprise humanoid designed for autonomous material handling.
Heavy carry
30 kg sustained and 50 kg peak, or 20 kg in one hand.
Swaps its own battery
About four hours per battery, then swaps itself for near-continuous work.
56 DOF, 2.3 m reach
Continuously rotating joints allow movements beyond human range.
Rugged
IP67 rated and works from roughly -20 °C to 40 °C.
Orbit
Links robot work and fleet data to MES, WMS and enterprise systems.

よくある質問
How much does Atlas cost?
Boston Dynamics doesn't publish a price. Atlas is supplied through selected enterprise deployments, priced by fleet size, application, software, integration and support.
Can I get one now?
Not yet for most buyers: 2026 production is committed to partners such as Hyundai and Google DeepMind, with more customers planned from 2027. Ask us to register interest.
Is this the hydraulic Atlas from the videos?
No. The hydraulic research robot was retired in 2024. The current Atlas is fully electric, and its product version was unveiled in January 2026.
How does battery swapping work?
Atlas walks to a swap station and changes its own battery, so it can keep working with only short breaks. Sites need the station and spare batteries.
