NEO is 1X Technologies' home humanoid: 167.6 cm tall, 30 kg, with a cushioned body and quiet tendon-driven joints built for living spaces. Two 25-DoF hands handle household objects, it runs for up to four hours and docks itself to recharge. 1X's Redwood AI handles chores, navigation and conversation, and a remote Expert Mode can guide tasks it hasn't learned yet. Early Access units ship to US homes from 2026, with other markets planned from 2027.

How much does NEO cost?
1X lists Early Access at US$20,000, with a US$200 refundable deposit to order. A US$499/month subscription is planned for later. Taxes, freight and local terms add to that.
When can I get one?
Early Access deliveries start in US homes in 2026; other markets are planned from 2027. Ask us about availability for your country.
Is it fully autonomous?
It works autonomously by default and improves over time. For tasks it hasn't learned, Expert Mode lets a trained remote operator guide it, which uses its cameras and microphones, so check the privacy settings.
Is it safe at home, and can it get wet?
It has a soft body, covered joints and low-inertia drives. The body is IP44 (splash resistant), not waterproof, and it is meant for indoor use. It is not a caregiver or medical device.
