The MiR1000 is an autonomous mobile robot from Mobile Industrial Robots that moves pallets, racks, cages and loads up to 1,000 kg around factories and warehouses. It maps the site, avoids people and obstacles with safety laser scanners and 3D cameras, and takes top modules such as pallet lifts, conveyors and shelves. It runs about 8 hours per charge. MiR has replaced it with the MiR1350, so today it mainly suits existing fleets and used-equipment buyers.

Is the MiR1000 still available?
MiR no longer makes it; the MiR1350 is its successor. MiR1000 units are mostly found as used equipment or within existing fleets.
How much can it carry?
Up to 1,000 kg on level floors, depending on how the load is mounted and the top module used.
How fast and how long does it run?
Up to 1.2 m/s, for about 8 hours per charge. Auto-charging takes about an hour; charging by cable about two.
Can it move pallets on its own?
Yes, with a pallet-lift top module and pallet racks or stations set up on site.
Is it safe around people and forklifts?
It uses SICK safety laser scanners, 3D cameras and proximity sensors to slow down or stop. Every site still needs a risk assessment and clear traffic rules.
MiR1000 or MiR1350?
For a new project, the MiR1350 carries more and has current support. The MiR1000 mainly makes sense for matching an existing fleet or buying used.
