Pepper is Aldebaran's 1.2 m wheeled social humanoid, known from shops, museums, banks and research labs. It greets visitors, talks, gestures with 20 degrees of freedom and shows content on its chest tablet while moving through mapped indoor spaces. It can't lift or carry anything. Aldebaran has declared Pepper out of stock, so units now come from remaining, refurbished or leased inventory.

No. Aldebaran says Pepper is definitively out of stock. Existing units remain in use, and integrators offer remaining, refurbished or leased robots.
What can Pepper do?
Greet visitors, talk, gesture, show tablet content and move around suitable indoor spaces. It can't carry goods, clean or manipulate objects.
How is it programmed?
With NAOqi, Choregraphe and tablet web apps. Used units may come without transferable credentials or source code, so check before buying.
Can it navigate by itself?
Yes, indoors on mapped, level floors. It can't use stairs or go outdoors.
